The Duke Venture Capital Club Executive Board members:

Ian Low, '12
Chief Executive Officer

Ian is a junior from Los Altos (Bay Area), California majoring in Economics with a finance concentration, certificating in Markets and Management, and minoring in Statistical Science. After spending a summer with Intel Corp, he wants to pursue a career as a financial analyst in the high tech industry and then become a venture capitalist. Ian currently sits on the Board of the The Duke Entrepreneur and is a Resident Assistant in Blackwell. In his free time, Ian enjoys any sort of athletic activity and consistently plays basketball on an intramural team. He also likes hanging out and socializing with friends and watching the occasional movie.

 Vansh Muttreja, '12
Chief Strategic Officer

Vansh is a junior from India majoring in Economics and Electrical and Computer Engineering. Apart from serving as the Chief Strategy Officer of DVCC, he is the Vice President of External Affairs of the International Association and a Duke Smart Home Fellow. He is interested in strategy consulting, product management, private equity and new business development. Vansh loves traveling, listening to music and playing cricket.

David is a junior from Haifa, Israel majoring in Biomedical Engineering, with minors in Chemistry and Biology, David is passionate about Biomedical Engineering research. A Pratt Research Fellow, and a Grand Challenge Scholar to boot, David enjoys exercising, classical music and concerts, and is an avid follower of the Duke Blue Devils. David is cognizant of the role of venture capital in commercializing technology.

Vidhan Agrawal, '12
Chief Outreach Officer

Vidhan is a junior from New Delhi, India majoring in Biomedical Engineering and Economics. Vidhan is passionate about entrepreneurship and venture capital, and also serves as the Undergraduate Co-President of the Duke Start-Up Challenge and also sits on the Board of the The Duke Entrepreneur. Aside from this, Vidhan enjoys learning the Piano, taking pictures and loves to talk to new people.

Eric Zimmerman, '12
VP of External Affairs

Eric is a junior from Austin, Texas majoring in Program II and focusing in Biotechnology and Business.  Eric has worked for a venture capital firm and several start-ups all in the life science sector.  Aside from entrepreneurship, Eric likes playing tennis, watching Duke basketball and watching movies.  Eric is always looking for new entrepreneurs and venture capitalists to meet and pick their brains.

Omar Nazzal, '13
VP of Marketing

Omar is a sophomore from Toledo, Ohio on the shores of Lake Erie, far removed from the start-up hubs of Silicon Valley, Boston, and the RTP area. He was drawn to the Venture Capital Club just as Duke unveiled greater support for entrepreneurship and related endeavors. His academic interests include environmental science, molecular biology, finance, and medical technology. Apart from his scholastic interests, Omar enjoys traveling, discussing foreign policy, and South-Indian cuisine. 

Mike Im, '14

Mike is a freshman from Charlotte, North Carolina who plans on majoring in Economics and Statistics. Mike is passionate about finance and entrepreneurship, and currently works with a Fuqua MBA Candidate as an intern/apprentice. Aside from this, he enjoys recreational basketball, golf, art, and college life.

Cliff Shen, '14
Senior Marketing Advisor

Cliff is a current freshman from Orlando, Florida, majoring in Mechanical Engineering. Although he joined with little background knowledge of the venture capital field, Cliff has been enthusiastic in learning from the club and is driven in his new interest. Cliff is also a member of Duke’s breakdance group, Stop Motion Crew.
